Sustainable Business: The Bigger Picture

Sustainable business in 2009 means working with the bigger picture and aligning business goals with social and environmental objectives.
The UN mandated UPEACE Centre for Executive Education is visiting London to deliver a workshop on corporate responsibility (CR). The course will give professionals working in sustainability or CR practical knowledge that can be used for planning and implementing strategy as well as introducing other departments and stakeholders to sustainability issues. The course will be valuable for professionals at, or wishing to work at; blue chip companies, public sector organisations, NGOs, UN agencies, consultancies and social enterprises with an interest in understanding leading practice in sustainability and CR.The format of the course allows for an engaging and dynamic interaction between participants, facilitators and guest speakers, and includes a welcome dinner.

Social Enterprise
Successfully achieving the triple bottom line of social, environmental and economic goals.
UN Global Compact and Sustainability Frameworks
Understanding and implementing different frameworks.
